An alliance is an agreement between two or more people, organizations or entities, made in order to advance common goals. It is a tool that has proven to be very useful in conservation management.

FUNDECODES, in coordination with local authorities of the SINAC (National System of Conservation Areas), during the last years he has designed, done and tested, a series of strategic alliances through which it has managed to mobilize resources from the tourism business sector and other sectors, to support and strengthen conservation management in ASP of the ACT (Tempisque Conservation Area).

The experience has been innovative and very successful as an instrument to finance conservation projects, executed in Protected Wild Areas of the ACT, which has improved and strengthened conservation management in this territory and that is of great interest to SINAC and the country.
